New Website

Hello my fellow fans! I have moved my website to one that I feel is easier to navigate. It is now located at www.hookinstitches.weebly.com. It's a shorter URL than asking fans to put in the Hookin Stitches Google Site URL. Check it out since I've added new things and even a pattern to this site that isn't on Hookin Stitches Google Site!. Enjoy!

Owl Pillow

In April, I crocheted an owl pillow that was based off of the Owl Bib pattern. It turned out to be a hoot! It was a fun project to stitch up and the customer loved it! Don't forget that if you visit my site and look at my Made By Order section, that you can get customized items that you don't see on the site. All you have to do is contact me. I crochet a wide variety of items.

Lil Kitty Coin Purse

Made this special Lil Hello Kitty Coin Purse on request. This was an Easter gift for a customer's niece that loves Hello Kitty. It was so cute and fun to make that I have added it to the Crochet Patterns list!

Mini Hat Trick

I crocheted this adorable mini hat trick for my daughter yesterday. It only took me a few hours, but it may have only taken me 2 hours if my daughter wouldn't have kept running away with it on her head. Haha, she's such a cute little stinker. She started preschool this year and wanted a hat for school in the winter that I could crochet for her. Here it is, and she thanked me for it when I gave it to her. She won't take it off now... I think I'll be adding this to my site: Crochet Patterns Made by Order.

Crocheted Baptism Gift

Finished crocheting a Mitered Square Patchwork Baby Blanket for a wonderful repeat customer. It's a baptism present and themed with safari/jungle colors. It sure was a fun, wild pattern that I enjoyed from start to finish! Now it's going to a good home to be loved by a very special little boy. I just love crocheting special handmade gifts for my and other's loved ones. My work truly comes from the heart, every stitch! Each piece is just as important as the next.
If you are interested in any of my pieces or want a piece that I haven't shown yet, don't hesitate to check out my website and contact me. I'll get in touch with you as soon as possible. I'm open to customization in colors and design. There's a wide range of possibilities to make your piece as unique as you!

Welcome to Hookin Stitches' Blog!

Welcome to the Hookin Stitches Blog! Here you will find my creations that I have crocheted, which I sell at my Hookin Stitches site. I do offer to blog about what I'm crocheting during certain time points to allow buyers to see their item being made as if it is being made right before their eyes. I think it's a wonderful experience for the buyer to see how their item is being created along the way. I love to make my pieces as personal as possible and put all of my heart into every stitch. Why not give a handmade gift to loved ones?

Come to this blog or my site to see who I will donate to next. I try to have one week each month set aside to give a percentage of my sales to an organization. I want to share my talent and help out others. If enough money is raised for the organization, I will also donate crocheted items that would be useful for that organization. I generally donate an item for every $20 raised.

I will also be sharing some crocheting techniques further down the road as time allows for me. Please be patient for this area to get started. I'm more focused on giving the best quality pieces to my wonderful customers, who I appreciate very much, and sharing my talent.

Thank you for checking out my blog! Look out for special deals that exclusive to this blog and on the Hookin Stitches Facebook Page!
